2011Summer Workshop: The EU in the World. Towards Global Partnerships in Peace Operations

The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), Switzerland, is pleased to announce its upcoming Summer Workshop entitled ‘The EU in the World: Towards Global Partnerships in Peace Operations’.
The workshop is targeted to PhD candidates and post-doctoral fellows working on EU security policy, with a focus on inter-institutional cooperation in the broad field of crisis management. The workshop aims to provide a platform for scholarly exchange, by giving participants an opportunity to present and get feedback on their current research.
The workshop consists of a series of presentations made by participants on the workshop theme, and includes guest speakers’ lectures. Each participant is invited to present a paper, which is reviewed by other participants and the workshop directors.
The working language of the workshop will be English.
