oiip has links with other research institutes specializing in international politics and international relations throughout the world. It acts as an intermediary for members of the public interested in political processes. It is able to network at the national and international level thanks to its transparent method of working, ongoing reporting on topical issues and the state of the research being carried out.

Networking through participation in international conferences

oiip researchers contribute to the interlinking of international social science resources by taking part in conferences, talks and workshops in Austria and elsewhere relating to their personal focuses and expertise.

In 2003, oiip members will take part in conferences organized by the International Studies Association (ISA), European Consortium of Political Research (ECPR), Trans European Studies Association (TEPSA), Herrnstein International Management Institute and others.
