Wiener Begegnungen mit Osteuropa wurde im Jahr 1999 als Veranstaltungsreihe am OIIP gegründet. Sie wird vom Experten für Russland und Osteuropa, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gerhard Mangott, konzipiert und koordiniert.

Vienna meets Eastern Europe is a series of conferences, workshops and lectures that has been established by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gerhard Mangott in 2000. It provides the opportunity for specialists to exchange knowledge and experience together with international experts on political topics relevant to Russia, Central and Eastern Europe.
