    AUT-Hub to the Nairobi Internet Governance Forum 2011

    The Internet as a Catalyst for Change: Access, Development, Freedoms and Innovation

    As part of a world-wide network, the AUT-Hub will enable those interested living in Austria to remotely engage in the 6th Internet Governance Forum meeting, being held in Nairobi Kenya from 27-30 September 2011. Participants will have the opportunity to poise remote questions to the panellists in Nairobi via video conferencing. The overall motto of the workshops this year is: The Internet as a Catalyst for Change: Access, Development, Freedoms and Innovation.”

    The AUT-Hub will support this international civil society engagement with a remote workshop on the following two subjects:

    08:00-09:30 Cybersecurity: Safeguarding the Global Internet and Emerging Issues/Opportunities for Developing Countries
