Portrait: Alexis Gregoire

Alexis Gregoire is a MA student of Public Policy at the Central European University in Vienna. He obtained his Bachelor in International Relations where he wrote his thesis on Internally Displaced People in Ethiopia. His research interests are in Sino-African relations, resource politics and geopolitical implications of the enlarged BRICS grouping on global energy investments. He gained professional experience in Tanzania at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung researching Tanzania’s economic diplomacy strategy in regards to China, the EU and the EAC, as well as in Morocco at the High Atlas Foundation, where he researched sustainable developments in the Marrakesh-Safi region.
