Fedor Agapov completed his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and is currently pursuing a Master of Advanced International Studies at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, where he also works as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of History under Professor Thomas Row. Before joining the Diplomatic Academy, Fedor worked as a producer at TV Rain, the Russian independent television channel in exile, and contributed analytical articles on Russian domestic and foreign policy to several European publications, including Republik, nd.Aktuell, and New Eastern Europe. His academic focus lies on Russia’s foreign policy and its evolving position within the European security architecture, with particular attention to the intersections of memory and post-imperial identity formation. At the oiip, Fedor will further develop his research skills and continue to explore the transformations of contemporary Russia under the supervision of Loic Simonet.
