Dr. Ayşe Dursun holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Vienna where she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the research area Gender & Politics (2019-2026). Ayşe’s research interests include gender & politics, flight and migration, care migration, social policy and intersectionality. She is the author of the book „Organized Muslim Women in Turkey: An Intersectional Approach to Building Women’s Coalitions“ (Palgrave 2022) and has served as an elected Steering Committee Member of the ECPR’s Standing Group on Gender & Politics.
