Invitation to an evening with this year’s Intercultural Achievement Award winners
13.10.2026
17:00 - 19:45
Bruno Kreisky Forum
Armbrustergasse 15, 1190 Wien
We are delighted to invite you — together with the Bruno Kreisky Forum — to an evening with this year’s Intercultural Achievement Award winners.
The award, presented by the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, honors outstanding civil society work that fosters intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
This year’s awardees come from Colombia, Montenegro, Jordan, Nigeria, Albania, Indonesia, and Austria. From conflict mediation and legal education to artistic activism, journalism training against disinformation, anti-hate-speech education, culinary peacebuilding, and social mentoring — their initiatives reflect the many ways civil society can drive change.
The evening will open with a presentation of each project, followed by the opportunity to engage with the awardees directly in break-out sessions. It is intended above all as a space for civil society exchange —to learn more about the winners' work, but also about yours, to discuss together the difficulties and barriers along the way, and to explore how local action translates into lasting impact.
Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:45 PM
