Jan Pospisil is Affiliated Researcher at the Austrian Institute for International Affairs and Associate Professor (Research) at Coventry University’s Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations (CTPSR). His work focuses on peace and transition processes with a focus on the wider Red Sea region and East Africa, donor politics in peacebuilding, resilience, and South Sudanese and Sudanese politics. Jan is co-investigator of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Evidence Platform (PeaceRep) at the University of Edinburgh, which is funded by UK FCDO. He is the author of ‘Peace in Political Unsettlement’, published by Palgrave Macmillan. His most recent monograph on South Sudan’s conflictscapes has been published in German by transcript.
