Justus Dehnicke, BA
 
						Justus Dehnicke is a Master’s student in International Development at the University of Vienna. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Culture and Business Studies at the University of Passau. As part of his academic training, he also spent study periods in Indonesia and Australia. His research focuses on global inequality, North–South relations, and geopolitics, with a regional emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region. He recently completed his Master’s thesis, in which he examined nation-building processes in the context of Indonesia’s capital relocation to Nusantara. He has gained practical experience through internships at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Bangkok. In addition, he worked as a student assistant at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS). At the oiip, he works under the supervision of Dr. Cengiz Günay and Dr. Thomas Eder.
