Währinger Strasse 3/12, 1090 Wien
This year again, we are delighted to welcome the winners of the Intercultural Achievement Award to the oiip. The award, presented by the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, honors outstanding civil society initiatives from Austria and around the world that foster intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
This year’s awardees come from Uganda, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Israel, Peru/Austria, Croatia, and Austria. Their initiatives tackle some of today’s most pressing issues — spanning environmental sustainability and peacebuilding, social inclusion, empowerment, and education for intercultural understanding.
The evening will open with a panel discussion, where the awardees will share insights into their projects, their visions for change, and the challenges they face in their respective contexts. Together, we will explore how local action can create lasting global impact and how civil society continues to drive transformation through dialogue and cooperation.
Following the discussion, there will be an opportunity for informal networking over a buffet, providing space to connect and exchange ideas with participants and awardees alike.
