Giuditta Fiori is an Italian student of the International Master’s Degree in Security, Intelligence, and Strategic Studies, a joint master’s programme at the University of Glasgow, Dublin City University, and Charles University in Prague. During her undergraduate, she completed her studies in Milan, obtaining a degree in Linguistic Mediation with a specialization in Criminology. Over the years, she has developed a strong interest in the cyber field and the impact of technology on International Relations and National Security. She is a member of Women4Cyber, an organization that promotes women’s presence in the field of cyber and Artificial Intelligence. She is currently focusing her studies, including her thesis, on topics related to online mis-/ disinformation and on how AI could be used to counter these issues. In particular, she is studying how disinformation and political propaganda are structured and deployed within Turkey’s online ecosystem.
