Julia Volpp is a student at the University of Chicago, where she is pursuing a bachelors in Public Policy with a specialization in Comparative Political Economy. Her interests include criminal justice reform, water and food security, and foreign policy (particularly regarding the United States, EU, and China). At the institute, Julia will research Sino-European relations under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Eder.
