Julius Gruber, BA, MA

Julius Gruber studied political science and law in Munich, and international relations in Vienna and Rome. His research has focused on European Union external affairs and neighbourhood policy, European security, and the impact of historical narrative and public memory on contemporary international affairs and diplomacy across various geopolitical contexts. He previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute of Political Science and has also collaborated on independent and academic research projects in related areas. Julius is personally passionate about international history, ballet, and music, and worked as a Dramaturgical Assistant at the Ballet of the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro during the summer and autumn of 2025.
