Nestor Blanch

Nestor Blanch is a fourth-year student at Central European University in Vienna, pursuing a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) with a double major in Political Science and Economics. Throughout his studies, he has focused on defense studies, with particular attention to the EU’s role in European security. His research interests center on the intersection of European defense policy and its industrial and economic dimensions, including defense procurement and industrial sovereignty. At the Institute, he will contribute to European security research alongside Loïc Simonet, examining emerging forms of European leadership.
