Tara Petkov
Research Associate
Tara Petkov is a research associate at the oiip. She is about to complete her law degree at JKU Linz, with a focus on international law and has gained professional experience in a law firm. In parallel, she is pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Vienna. In her political science thesis, she examined the use of emotions in official diplomatic statements to pursue strategic objectives at the outset of the Israel-Gaza war. Her research interests include peace and conflict studies, multilateralism and geopolitics, foreign policy research, international humanitarian law and the European Union’s external relations.
